Data used for a check
URL mode sends the address you enter to our checker. The service resolves the hostname through Cloudflare DNS and contacts that website without forwarding your cookies, account credentials, or browser headers. The target website sees the checker’s network request and User-Agent.
Do not submit URLs containing passwords, private access tokens, or sensitive query parameters. The checker rejects embedded usernames, passwords, and URL fragments.
Storage and infrastructure
The application has no database and does not persist check reports or submitted URLs. Manual version checks do not send the entered version to our server. Copying or downloading a report is an action you control.
Cloudflare processes request information to host the service and apply abuse limits. The website operator does not enable Worker application logs in this project. Infrastructure providers can process network metadata under their own policies. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Cookies, analytics, and external links
We use self-hosted Plausible Analytics at stats.blackholeenglish.com to measure aggregate website visits, referral sources, and interactions without analytics cookies. We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and engagement. Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies and process page URLs, referral information, device/browser information, and usage events. Google advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled in our tag configuration. We do not send the website address or PHP version entered in the checker as analytics event data, and do not save your check history in local storage. See Google’s privacy policy. External links are governed by their respective services’ policies.
